I’m always a little sad to see summer go. Making the shift from the slower pace of summer to fall’s hustle and bustle isn’t always easy. But there’s an easy cure: a fresh shopping list. Nothing recharges the mood quite like a wardrobe refresh.

My focus this fall ranges from leveled-up basics (see: here, here, and here) and essential accessories (belts!) to touches of red (!) and, of course, an assortment of special-occasion numbers to carry me straight through party season. Also on my radar: skirts (love this one), a much-needed denim refresh, and a hero handbag. And I’m just getting started.
