MY FAVORITE PAIRS OF WHITE DENIM
I’ve given you all the rundown on my favorite pairs (currently, that is) of blue jeans – now, let’s talk about white denim.
White denim is so tricky. They’re much less forgiving than blue jeans so everything has to be just right – read: not too cropped, not too tight (!), and with thoughtful details (no bulky pockets, please). Finding the perfect pair takes a lot of work. But when you do, it feels oh-so good and you reap the wearability rewards.
I’m always on the hunt for the next best pair but happy to report that I have managed to nail down four pairs that check all of my boxes. Below, a peek at my current rotation along with a shopping list with more options for you to consider.
AGOLDE RILEY CROP JEANS
It’s very, very rare that the white version of your favorite pair of blue jeans will ever be as good. This is the exception. You all know how much I love this AGOLDE style and I am thrilled to report that the white wash is every bit as good. Magic trick: despite having zero stretch, this pair of denim somehow manages to soften and “ease” without ever getting baggy.

FRAME LE CROP MINI BOOT CUT JEANS
I have had this particular pair of Frame jeans for at least five years. That’s a long time in the world of white denim. While I don’t normally love a stretchy white denim, these have the kind of stretch that makes you feel tucked in rather than exposed. The barely-there ankle flare makes them a go-to for everyday wear.

PISTOLA DENIM PENNY HIGH RIDE CROP JEANS
My newest addition! High-waisted, comfortable, and an ideal straight-with-a-slight-flare cut, these jeans are a winner! The icing on the cake is the fact that they do not have any front pockets which saves me a trip to the tailor to remove them.

KHAITE VIVIAN NEW BOOTCUT FLARE JEANS
While I love a bright white wash, I’ve found that an ivory shade is just as essential. This no-stretch, super high-waisted pair from Khaite is the best. It’s the details – the unique, slightly-dressy button, the streamlined pockets that don’t add any bulk – that really seal the deal.
