8 PAIRS OF JEANS IN MY CURRENT ROTATION
When it comes to essentials, nothing tops the list quite like a great pair (or six) of denim. It’s the ultimate workhorse of my wardrobe which means I simply can’t have just one pair. My denim collection is an ever-changing lineup, with a variety of different styles and washes. While I do have my tried-and-true favorites (these!), the truth is I am always on the hunt for the next best pair (just ordered these) which means the rotation is always changing.
Below, you’ll find a look at my current lineup (in no specific order), which includes a mix of old favorites joined by a few newcomers like this wide-leg pair from The Great that is a perfect shade of cream.
NO. 1
If you aren’t familiar with my love affair for the Ribcage style from Levi’s then you must be new here. These oldies-but-goodies are for those of us who love a super high-rise and don’t care for stretch. Bonus: they’re under $125!
LEVI’S RIBCAGE STRAIGHT ANKLE JEANS
NO. 2
The perfect shade of not-quite-white to take me from spring to summer. These jeans are super comfortable, too.
THE GREAT SEAFAIR JEANS
NO. 3
These high-waisted jeans have been one of my most-worn pairs over the past few months. They are a go-to with heels – whether that’s a pair of boots or, moving ahead to warm weather, a high-heel sandal.
CITIZENS OF HUMANITY ANNINA TROUSER JEANS
NO. 4
The newest brand to my denim collection is Slvrlake. I am on my second pair from the brand and totally obsessed. These jeans are a perfect not-to-cropped crop and the wash is just that ideal shade of medium blue. I have a feeling these will become one of my most-worn pairs of jeans.
SLVRLAKE LONDON CROP JEANS
NO. 5
My love affair for these jeans goes way back. If you’re a fan of a cropped style with little-to-no-stretch and a great high-rise waist then I think you might like these, too. Tip: I have noticed that the fit tends to be ever so slightly different with various washes so test out a few before making the final call.
AGOLDE RILEY HIGH RISE STRAIGHT CROP JEANS
NO. 6
These are the only denim shorts I own. My days of super-short shorts are long gone so the longer length of these is ideal. They’re also super comfortable and get better with every wash.
AGOLDE PARKER LONG LOOSE VINTAGE SHORTS
NO. 7
Khaite makes some of the best jeans out there. The fit is always right and – like magic – the more you wear them, the better they get. The Vivian style is one I reach for on both casual and dressy occasions. With a super high waist and an ever-so-slight flare at the ankle, these jeans are flattering and look good with pretty much any shoe.
KHAITE VIVIAN BOOTCUT FLARE JEANS
NO. 8
‘Tis the season. The white jeans are out and they’re here to stay. This style from Frame is an old favorite of mine. They’re a flattering fit and I like the mini flare at the ankle. Most importantly, they are not see-through. Don’t you hate when your white denim is so thin that it almost feels like you’re wearing see-through pants? These aren’t that.
