MY SUMMER ESSENTIALS (TUCKERNUCK EDIT)

As we head into the final few weeks of school, I’m starting to shift into summer mode – end-of-year events, camp sign-ups, and travel plans. Getting dressed follows suit.

It becomes less about putting together full outfits and more about a handful of pieces that just work – easy dresses, lightweight knits, and chic separates that work at 10am and still feel right at dinner with a quick sandal swap or accessory add.

That’s what my Tuckernuck Edit is built around.

Tuckernuck has always been a go-to for me for this kind of dressing, and this edit is very much everything I like to wear in the summer: elevated, wearable basics that are anything but boring. You’ll find a lot of cotton and a lot of neutrals in the form of dresses (so many good ones), denim, knitwear, and more. Summer dressing, at its best, should feel instinctive – refined, reliable, and easy. This edit is exactly that.

Ahead, a peek at a few of my favorites. Head over to Tuckernuck to check out the full edit.

DE CASTRO BLUE DRESS

The dreamiest dress! Feminine without feeling overly sweet. It’s the kind of dress that works just as well during the day as it does for a barefoot dinner alfresco.

BLACK COTTON SKIRT

Summer black is underrated. An easy answer to “what do I wear today?” Clean, lightweight, and just structured enough to feel polished without trying.

BLACK CASHMERE TEE

If you haven’t tried Tuckernuck’s cashmere tees yet – now’s the time to do it. Trust me. These under-$150 tees are my all-time favorite. The quality is tip-top and the fit is super flattering. I have one in almost every color.

IVORY COTTON CREWNECK

The kind of summer knit I always come back to—soft, breathable, and easy to throw on with white denim or over your shoulders when the air conditioning is aggressive.

WHITE YVETTE DRESS

The LWD of your summer dreams. The fit is perfect and so flattering. It’s ideal for day-to-night styling. Bonus: it’s under $150.

BEADED BAG

A piece that does the work for you. It adds color and texture in one move—just enough to make even the simplest outfit look intentional.

JULIETTA ALMA NECKLACE

Let accessories work for you. A statement necklace like this is what shifts an entire outfit. It’s an easy way to add color to any look. I even love it worn with a bikini for a pool-to-lunch look.

PISTOLA DENIM HIGH RISE STRAIGHT

A summer staple, but the cut is what makes it. Clean, easy, and the kind of white denim that works with everything.

CASTANER IVORY ESPADRILLES

A go-to summer shoe. It gives you height, but still feels easy—and pairs just as well with dresses as it does with denim.

HYACINTH HOUSE EMERAL FLORAL DRESS

The square neckline combined with the drop-waist silhouette is the ultimate combo. It’s flattering and just gives the dress an effortless elegance. It also rings in at under $200, making it a win-win-win.
