When it comes to my warm-weather wardrobe, dresses are the star of the show. Don’t get me wrong: I love my denim (lately, this pair, especially) and relish the mix of a good high-waisted trouser and top, but there’s just no denying that dresses always top my list. Easy and oh-so versatile, dresses are the hero piece in any summer wardrobe – and, with the “unofficial” start of the season right around the corner, it’s prime time to refresh my selection. 

Where to head first? Saks. Thanks to the expert edits, it’s where I always find so many closet gems – including, most recently, this Johanna Ortiz number that I plan on wearing all summer long.
