With just about six (ish) weeks to go until my due date, I’m officially on the last lap of this pregnancy. It has both flown by and also felt as if things were moving at a snail’s pace at the same time. (That’s how pregnancy is, really, an experience in contradictions: fast and slow, smiles and tears, energizing and totally draining. Up and down. All the time.) Every pregnancy is different but one thing I know to be true is that is that it’s not always comfortable. In fact, it can feel like an uphill climb at times. That’s why it’s important to focus on the things that make you feel good and make you feel like, well, you – whether that’s a recurring prenatal massage, a new pair of leggings (just go up one size) that finally make you feel comfortable, or something as simple as a daily Diet Coke (with two limes, please!) to perk up your afternoon. Take the treats where you can get them.
