I ❤ LA LIGNE
LA LIGNE Dress // J.CREW Sandals
I sent a picture of this dress to a friend over the weekend and her immediate response was: “Can you even remember life before La Ligne?” That just about sums it up. If you’ve been reading this blog for awhile then you are no doubt familiar with the La Ligne (and my love for the brand – especially their striped sweaters) but, if not, then allow me to introduce you. La Ligne is the genius collection created by former Vogue editors Valerie Macaulay and Meredith Melling Burke and former Rag & Bone exec Molly Howard. The trio took their love of the stripe and have managed to turn it into a collection full of wardrobe staples that are chic, timeless, and – to put it simply – cool. You’ll find everything from the obvious striped tees (this is my favorite iteration of theirs) and knits to dresses and pants, each with a subtle line detail spun somewhere into the design. This dress, like this cotton sweater and every other La Ligne item hanging in my closet, checks all of the boxes: it’s easy, versatile (dress it up or dress it down), and the kind of thing you can’t put a date on, meaning I’ll love it – and wear it – just as much three summers from now.
Below, a shopping list with all of my La Ligne favorites.
