I’ve always thought that the transition from summer to fall is the trickiest for which to dress. The calendar says its fall but the Texas weather tells an entirely different story. It’s certainly cooled off (hooray!) but we have yet to venture into sweaters and coats territory – and most likely won’t until Halloween or maybe a little after that. I’m still very much in the mood for easy dresses but I don’t want to wear one that screams July either. This Zimmermann dress has proved to be the perfect in-between option. It’s linen, making it ideal for warm days, but the long sleeves and mustard tones give it that autumnal touch. I’ve been wearing it with velvet slippers and these mules, but I also think it would totally work paired with a great pair of chocolate suede boots.
