If there’s one thing I never tire of when it comes interiors, it’s wicker and rattan. While some people may think of it as too beachy or too casual, I totally disagree. Rattan is one of my favorite materials and I love finding ways to incorporate it into a home. (It’s probably not surprising that you can find touches of the material – including this fab Celerie pendant which hangs in the playroom – in pretty much every room in my house.)

What’s great about wicker and rattan is that not only do they work as a neutral, but it also adds such warmth and texture to a room. I love mixing it into more formal spaces (think: this side table or this lamp in a living room) as a way to bring a more relaxed vibe to the room. The same goes for tablescapes. I’m always adding rattan touches (these glasses are my favorite) to even my most formal place settings.
