THE ALL-BLACK HOLIDAY PARTY EDIT
If there’s one thing I love about the holidays, it’s the excuse to get dressed up. Every invitation – from a gift exchange with friends to a cocktail party – becomes a chance to pull out something with a little sparkle. But festive doesn’t have to mean red, green, or covered in head-to-toe in tinsel. Sometimes the best holiday look is the simplest one: all black, done right.
Case in point: the outfit I’m wearing here. It’s proof that an all-black moment can still feel celebratory.
All it takes is a single hero piece and in this case, that’s my Rag & Bone black sequin top. It’s elegant and has just the right amount of shimmer. It’s a good one to have in your closet because it makes for an easy pairing with so many things – whether that’s black pants (loving these right now, day or night), a skirt, or denim if you want to dress it down. And then the shoes: a classic pump from Manolo Blahnik given a holiday spin with a buckle on the toe that adds the exact amount of festivity the holidays call for. They feel special without being “holiday shoes,” which means I can (and do!) wear them year-round.
