Etsy is one of my favorite places to get lost on the world wide web. Call it a not-so-guilty pleasure: I could spend hours going down the rabbit hole there. Whether you’re after antiques and vintage goods or searching for handmade, one-of-a-kind gifts, Etsy is the the ultimate place to discover it all – and so much more.
With so much to see, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Fear not: below, a short list of the best things I discovered on Etsy this month.
1960s CONTESSA SILK DRESS
I could truly spend all day long browsing through the vintage clothing on Etsy. There are so many treasures to be unearthed – including this 1960s silk number. I love the simplicity of the design with the addition of the pink waistband. I think this could be a two-for-one buy, too, as it could be worn long and then shortened to be given a new life as a mini dress.

1930s COCKTAIL SHAKER
Shake, shake, shake… every well-appointed bar needs a proper cocktail shaker. (Hot tip: they make great gifts!) The best ones are vintage – and bonus points for this which happens to be extra-large in size so you can shake up more than one cocktail at a time.

PERSONALIZED FOIL GIFT TAGS
It’s hard to believe it but the holidays will be here before you know it. Check one thing off your list by ordering your gift tags now. This is one of my favorite Etsy shops for customized tags and stickers for both myself and my kiddos. They have a million different colors and designs from which to choose – or, in the alternative, you can something totally bespoke!

PERSONALIZED NOTEPAD
As much as I love and live for my iPhone for, well, everything, there’s something about a handwritten to-do list that I just can’t shake. This one is ideal: not only is the paper the most delightful shade of pink, but the design forces me to narrow down my list and prioritize the things that need to happen ASAP.

VINTAGE STRIPED COTTON SHIRT
I find I can never have too many (good) stripe tees. This shop has an amazing assortment of vintage (deadstock from the ’70s, never used!) Breton stripe tees, and I am obsessed. The fit is ideal for everyday – slightly oversized (sizes are unisex!), straight-cut, and long sleeves.

CANVAS KIDS COAT
This little shop makes the adorable clothing (check out the matching stripe sets!) for little girls. Trimmed in ric-rac, this canvas coat has a swingy style with plenty of room to grow. (Hot tip: you can request any color ric-rac.)

You all know how much I love a good hair bow. This shop offers so many great hair accessories but the bows – made from vintage fabric! – might be their best. This red one will be a go-to for every holiday party this season.

Etsy is a treasure trove when it comes to vintage costume jewelry. This YSL necklace is a ’90s find. It’s the perfect addition to a simple black t-shirt.
