Makeup has never been my “thing.” This is mainly because I have never been that skilled at application (and I’ve never had the patience to learn), but, really it’s that I just don’t love the way I look with a full face of heavy makeup. I’m all about a glowy, lit-from-within (this product is magic) look. For me, less is more.
With that said, makeup is something I wear every single day so I’m invested in discovering the right products (this blush is amazing) for my – albeit super quick and super simple – routine. Below, a peek at six products I use (almost) every single day.
WESTMAN ATELIER COMPLEXION DROPS
With a serum-like consistency (it feels more like skincare than makeup), these drops provide light, buildable coverage that is perfect for summer. It’s ideal for a no-makeup-makeup look. I wear shade Atelier II, and I think it looks best when applied with my hands in lieu of a brush or sponge. I apply the drops directly to the areas of my face and then use my fingers to press it into my skin.

WESTMAN ATELIER SUPER LOADED HIGHLIGHTER
I wear SPF non-stop and basically hide from the sun like it’s my job. With that said, my skin looks so much better with a little warmth. This product is how I get it. I use it every single day, sweeping it across the tops of my cheekbones before applying blush. It’s a creamy formula that goes on super soft and smooth, giving my skin the dewy, warm glow it needs.

SAIE DEW BLUSH
Blush is my desert-island product. I can’t leave the house without a little blush. It’s the only thing that makes me look alive some mornings. I am always trying new ones and have a handful of favorites, including this one. The formula delivers just the right amount of buildable (that’s key!) I use the shade Baby. It’s the perfect pop of pink.

KOSAS BLUSH
What can I say? It’s a Kosas summer over here. I am really loving all of their products – including this blush in the shade “Butterflies.” It’s the perfect way to add a little color to my complexion when I need it. Don’t let the bright pink color scare you: it goes on lighter than you think.

ARMANI LUMINOUS SILK CONCEALER
The older I get, the more important I find concealer to be. These under-eye circles need all the help they can get. I’ve tried so many different ones (Have one you love? DM me. I’m always open to your suggestions.) and kind of go back and forth between a few, depending on what kind of coverage I need. This one is perfect for me right now. It brightens and conceals where I need it to, and it goes on so smoothly. No caking.

KOSAS WET STICK IN “SKINNY DIP”
My pink lipstick obsession knows no bounds. I am never without at least three tubes in my handbag – one of which is most certainly this one from Kosas. I have it in three colors and “Skinny Dip” might be my favorite one. It’s a perfect balm-meets-lipstick formula, delivering creamy, punchy color with just the right amount of shine. No gloss topper needed.
