WHAT TO WEAR TO THE POOL THIS SUMMER
COVER-UP // SWIMSUIT // SANDALS // SUNGLASSES // BAG
While the swimsuit may take center stage, the coverup is really the hero of any poolside look. It adds the finishing touch to any poolside look – not to mention, it plays a key role in the transition from pool to bar (or whatever else is on the agenda). There’s no shortage of options right now – from one-and-done sarongs and oversized button-downs to fashion-forward caftans and coordinated sets. Here’s a peek at a few in my current lineup: this, these breezy, linen pants, and several crochet styles, including this one (looks best over a white swimsuit) and this one.
‘Tis the season! Below, Prep your poolside looks with the list

This Marysia hoodie is one of those things I bought on a whim and had no idea I would wear it as much as I have. The terry cloth material makes it a convenient post-dip option. It’s a quick, throw-on-and-go option – which is key when at the pool with kiddos.

The magic of a multi-color pareo is that you can literally select any color swimsuit and it’s a great match. I find that this one looks particularly good with a navy suit. I love the wearability of this Hunza v-neck style.

The kind of tunic that’s ideal for balmy days spent playing cards by the pool. Wear this over your favorite black swimsuit.

Pucci is back (not that she ever really left) in a big way this summer. I am living for the punchy prints and bright colors – especially worn poolside in the form of this chic pareo. Tie it over a swimsuit in a coordinating color or, to really complete the look, wear it with the matching bikini.

I originally bought this midi dress to wear over my bump when I was pregnant with Hunter, and nearly two years later, it remains one of my favorite warm-weather dresses. It’s a perfect option when you need something that feels just a little more elevated. The best part is that you can easily wear it as a dress on its own to dinner.
