THESE BLUSH STICKS ARE A GAME CHANGER

Makeup sticks are essential to my makeup routine. I love them. They offer a mess-free, streamlined application that’s as quick as can be. While I wouldn’t swap out all of my makeup to be a stick, I find that certain things like blush (and any sort of contour color) are better in stick form. The Nudies Cream Blush Sticks certainly check that box. I learned about these from a makeup artist in NYC. (She’s a beauty queen so if she says it’s good, I know it is.) I started with just this one (in Magenta Magic) per her recommendation and before I knew it, I had a drawer full of them, covering all the different shades.

There’s a lot to love about these sticks: the soft (but not too soft!) punch of color they give, the subtle dewiness they add, and the fact that the color really stays on and doesn’t call for constant reapplications are just a few of the winning qualities. But! What really levels these up for me is that they’re dual-ended (color balm on one side and a blending brush on the other) making for the easiest application, especially on the go.

I’ve tried so many of the shades and while they’re really all very good, there are some that I reach for more than others. In no particular order, my current favorites: Cherry Blossom Babe, Sunkissed Pink, Bare Back (very nude-pink), and Magenta Magic.
