THE BEST BOOTS TO BUY RIGHT NOW
When it comes to fall/winter wardrobe essentials, boots are near the very top of the list. Between chic updates to the cowboy boot to an abundance of over-the-knee styles, there’s no shortage of stylish boot options this season.
When selecting a new pair, my advice is to stick with the classics – think: timeless silhouettes and neutral hues. This Loeffler Randall leather knee-high is the epitome of a go-with-everything pair. (I’ve had mine for years and they only get better as they age!) On the more statement-making side of the spectrum but no less classic are these over-the-knee boots from Proenza Schouler that have found their way to my shopping cart. I actually own these boots in two colors (brown suede and black leather) so that should tell you just how much I love them. Like so many of Isabel Marant’s boots, the details (pull tabs and a pointed toe) give them a slightly Western spin – but! – without going too far, giving them an edge over other Western styles that veer on trendy.
