One of my favorite weekly habits is a perusal through the “What’s New” section on MATCHES. Not only is it a great trick for passing time on the treadmill, but it’s also proven to be worthwhile as it’s been the source for some of my very best buys. My most recent purchase history (starting with this dress in two colors) is no exception.

BITE STUDIOS DRESS
I wore this dress out the day it arrived, and it has since become one of my most-worn dresses this summer. With a cinched waist and a flowy skirt, the crisp poplin midi is equal parts understated and elegant. With Labor Day right around the corner, I hate to think that this dress is headed for hibernation. Good news: the same dress has been given an autumnal spin (could that burnt orange color be more perfect?) so I can keep it in rotation through October at least.

GABRIELA HEARST SANDALS
I started with the gold version of these sandals and quickly realized I would need a second pair. Set on a stacked cork sole, these leather slingbacks are truly so comfortable. The design is simple and elegant, and they always add a finishing touch to my look.

RUE DE VERNEUIL TOTE
If there’s one thing I’ve learned since becoming a mom, it’s that you can never have too many totes. Room for all. the. things. is paramount, but, thanks to options like these from Rue De Verneuil, you don’t have to sacrifice style to get it. The biggest bonus is that all of their bags come with a detachable shoulder strap for added functionality.

THE ROW JEANS
When it comes to The Row, you always get exactly what you pay for. These jeans are no exception. They have the best wash (classic!) and are perfectly tailored, hitting at just the right spot on my ankle so I can wear them with flats or heels.

STAUD SHIRT DRESS
Staud has totally mastered the want-it-right-now level of excitement for things without veering too trendy. This belted dress is a great example. I have it in pink and truly consider it a wardrobe staple. This summer was the perfect time to invest in a second color.
