With swim season right around the corner, it’s high time to take inventory of your pool essentials. A few that come to mind: a sun hat (this one is packable!), a new cover-up or two (this J.Crew beach shirt is still one of my favorites), loads of SPF, and, of course, an assortment of swimsuits. In regards to the latter, a versatile, wear-everywhere one-piece is a must-have in any summer wardrobe.

Is there anything more classic than a little black swimsuit? This one is a longtime favorite of mine. The sweetheart neckline and molded cups have a retro feel and offer great shape. Add a pareo for an instant pool-to-lunch look.

HUNZA G SQUARE-NECK SWIMSUIT
The crinkled material is all the rage right now with swim – and, after buying my first (but not my last!) Hunza G swimsuit last summer, I can totally understand why. Not only does the smocked material give the solid swimsuit depth and texture, but it also makes for what might be the most comfortable suit I own. Don’t let the one-size-fits-all scare you: this suit truly looks good on everyone.

I just got my first swimsuit from this new-to-me brand. I’m totally obsessed with everything about it. The fit is flattering and supportive. Bonus: it’s under $100.

It doesn’t get much more versatile than a reversible one-piece. This one-shoulder swimsuit is one of my very favorites. It’s super flattering, comfortable, and a two-for-one. I buy it in a new color every season.
