There’s really nothing more luxurious than changing into a chic and cozy pair of pajamas at the end of a long day. It’s a calming ritual, one that cues my brain that it’s time to wind down. While it’s always a good time to shop for a new pair of pajamas, right now is really what I consider pajama prime time. It’s cozy season!

Whether you’re shopping for yourself or someone else, a new pair of pajamas makes for a perfect gift. There are so many styles from which to choose, and all you need to know is where to find the best ones. The answer: Saks Fifth Avenue. Not only is their selection one with the greatest variety, but it’s also one that proves that you don’t have to sacrifice style for comfort. For those looking for a little party in their pajamas, look no further than a feather-adorned pair from Sleeper or one of Morgan Lane’s silk sets – both of which I find are always a hit of a gift for gal pals. If a more straightforward style is preferred, this lightweight linen set from Pour Les Femmes is a new favorite of mine. For the pajama purist, a button-front style is the only way to go and nobody makes a softer set than Eberjey. You’ll want to live in their Giselle set all weekend long. 

Don’t forget the finishing touches. Slippers are a must, and you can’t go wrong with a shearling set from Sleeper.  (These make an excellent, less expensive substitute.) Equally as fab are the faux fur pairs from Apparis. They come in so many good colors and make such a great gift. A cozy robe (this one really is the softest) tops it all off – not to mention, it’s also the ultimate when-in-doubt gift for a mother-in-law.
