Unlike summer when I’m simply able to throw on a dress and a pair of sandals and call it a day, fall and winter require more layers, more steps, and more effort when getting dressed. Having some sort of uniform makes the process a little easier and for me, it’s usually a pair of jeans, ballet flats or boots, and some sort of knit. The knitwear is key and takes the place of my white t-shirt this time of year, which makes having an assortment of styles (this hooded sweater and this oversized cardigan) and colors (see here, here, and here) essential.
