THE FALL FAVORITES EDIT

And just like that, summer is coming to an end and a new season is upon us. Fall and winter have always felt slightly trickier for me in terms of getting dressed. I love the ease of summer’s one-and-done dresses, and this time of year requires more layers – read: more thinking. Lucky for you: I’ve put in the brain power so that you don’t have to. Cue to the Fall Favorites Edit, a one-stop-shop that has all of the pieces you need for the season ahead.

When it comes to getting dressed this fall, it’s all about the classics – timeless, wearable pieces that make up the foundation of a great wardrobe. Focusing on essentials gives you a fail-safe formula – aka a uniform. Though the small details (color choices, different accessories) might change, my day-to-day uniform this time of year looks something like this: a great blazer, a t-shirt or lightweight sweater (loving this silk-cashmere knit bodysuit!), a pair of straight-leg jeans, and a pair of flats or sneakers. The key is to have a range of great basics that are top-notch quality and versatile, giving you endless mix-and-match potential.

From cozy knits and chic outerwear to the best boots (see here, here, or here), the edit has it all. Below, a shopping list with a selection of a few favorites.
