Oh, J.Crew. I have a longstanding love affair with the brand (who doesn’t?) but, even so, I’ll be the first to admit that it’s always been a hit or miss kind of place. Sometimes it’s everything I want and then other time, I can’t find a single thing I’m dying to have. The current status, you ask? Hit, hit, hit. My cart is full and – best news ever! – it’s all on major sale. Just enter the code SUMMER at check out to see that $ total get cut in half. Run. Don’t walk.
Below, a peek at 9 items currently in my cart.
Truth be told, I always feel a little bored when it comes to J.Crew’s shoe selection. They have great basics but that’s about it. But! ‘Tis not the case here. These strappy sandals (available in a handful of colors!) are gorgeous. They’re elegant and wearable. Treat yourself to two pairs!
As the temperatures heat up, I’m always looking for an alternative to blue jeans. These linen pants check the box. They’re lightweight (perfect for those triple-digit days) but, as is the case with so many linen pants, they’re not so light that they’re see-through. This olive green color is the ultimate go-with-everything shade.
If I had to pick one single item from J.Crew to take on a desert island, it would be the brand’s cashmere tees. They’re the actual best. They’re super light (the ultimate summer sweater!) and a perfect substitute for those nights when you want to wear a t-shirt but need to amp it up just a bit. This bubblegum pink shade is a new addition to the lineup and might just be my favorite shade yet.
I love a flatform. They give you the height you want without sacrificing comfort. The key is finding one that doesn’t look straight out of 1995. Say hello to these espadrilles. I love the thick strap (flattering on a foot!), and I can already tell they’re going to be one of my most-worn sandals this summer.
Belts are the ultimate swim accessory. I think they make any swimsuit – no matter the silhouette – ten times more flattering. That is especially true with a v-neck like this one. The belt gives it just a little more dimension adds shape where I need it. Bonus: I am obsessed with the color.
I went from rarely buying a pair of J.Crew shoes to owning three in under two weeks. The latest addition is this pair of espadrilles. In the happiest shade of sunshine, these espadrilles are my sub-in for my usual ballet flats, which feel just a little too heavy this time of year. The price is so good that I might just go back for a second pair.
