JACKET // SPORTS BRA // LEGGINGS // SNEAKERS
When it comes to working out, a little motivation goes a long way for me. While I’d love to tell you that good health is reward enough, the truth is I need a little extra push in the right direction. The quickest fix? A good workout wardrobe.
Just like the continual hunt for my next best pair of jeans, I’m always looking for new activewear to add to my rotation. From the best high-waisted leggings and the most supportive sneakers to the cutest fleece (also: this one!) in my closet, the list below covers all of my latest favorites.
TORY SPORT FLEECE JACKET
I love just about everything in the Tory Sport collection – especially the outerwear. This fleece is not only warm, but polishes off a post-gym look.
Though I’m particular (high-waisted only!) when it comes to my leggings, I have lots of favorites from lots of different brands. This pair is the newest addition. What I love about these Splits59 leggings is that they feel supportive without being too heavy.
SPLITS59 LOREN BRA
Is there anything worse than an uncomfortable sports bra? This seamless style from Splits59 definitely doesn’t fall into that camp. It’s soft, stretchy, and offers just the right amount of support for my low-impact workouts.
APL TECHLOOM BREEZE SNEAKERS
If you’re looking for a super lightweight sneaker, this is the pair for you. The shoe itself has a soft, stretchiness to it that makes it easy to pick up the pace on a long walk or jog.
ALO YOGA LEGGINGS
Alo Yoga has long been a favorite of mine and these leggings are one of the biggest reasons for that. They’re so comfortable and flattering on the body. Though I usually opt for black or navy blue leggings, I love (!) this new silver-blue shade.
VARLEY DELTA BRA
If I’m doing a Melissa Wood Health pilates class at home, this is usually what I wear on top with a pair of high-waisted leggings. I like the square neckline and overall provides great support.
ON CLOUDNOVA SNEAKERS
I was never really a fan of On sneakers until this style came along. They’re exactly the kind of support I need for both treadmill workouts and my favorite dance cardio classes from The Sculpt Society.
TORY SPORT HOODIE
I don’t actually work out in this hoodie, but it sure does look cute to and from the gym. It makes for a great layering piece under a heavier puffer or worn on its own when the weather warms up.
These have been a staple in my workouts since 2019. I wrap them around my wrists for walks on the treadmill, and they also work as ankle weights when you want to level up a strength workout.
VARLEY BARTON SWEATSHIRT
If it’s one of those days when I just never make it out of my workout clothes, I usually throw this on as a top layer. It’s the perfect workout-to-wherever sweatshirt. The funnel neck gives it that chic-sportiness.
