You all already know that I’m a dress girl. Dresses make getting dressed easier for me. I love separates – don’t get me wrong – but they can be tricky. Dresses offer a one-and-done option that saves me time – and these days, with a kiddo in tow, that’s more important than ever. 

Whenever I’m looking to refresh my selection of dresses – or any wardrobe item, really – Matches is always one of my first stops. The website has the best (!) edit of dresses, covering all the categories and making it so I always find one that suits my mood – whether that’s a uniform-worthy, great basic like this one or something with a little (or a lot) more oomph when the occasion calls for festive. This Lee Matthews number falls somewhere between the two. It’s not so dressy that I can’t wear it all day long with a pair of flats or low-heel sandals and, with a doubled-up print, it’s artful and interesting enough that it works for an evening out, too.
