MY FAVORITE PLACES TO EAT IN NAPA

Just a short drive from San Francisco, Napa remains one of my tip-top favorite locations for a long-weekend trip. Great wine (obviously), delicious food, and wonderful weather – what’s not to love? Whether you’re looking for a romantic vacation or a girls-only getaway, Napa hits all the right marks.

From Michelin-starred restaurants to the best roadside burgers, Napa has it all. Below, a hit of my personal favorites.

Farmstead – If you’re traveling with a family or a big group of friends, this farm-to-table restaurant is a great choice. I love going here for lunch or a casual dinner.

Redd Wood – Hankering for pasta and pizza? This is your spot. Everything here is so yummy. Tip: Order the “Fresh Mozzerella” pizza. Simple and so delicious.

Archetype – This is where I head when I’m in the mood for a long, boozy brunch. The setting is gorgeous (think: Nancy Meyers) and the food is great. I order the Avocado Toast (on Model Bakery bread!) and a cocktail – or three.

Model Bakery – I never go to Napa without making a stop (sometimes daily) to Model Bakery. This sounds random and a little ridiculous but this is where you will find the world’s best English muffin. It’s flaky, buttery, and magical. Trust me on this one.

Gotts Roadside – This roadside favorite is worth the inevitable wait in line (it moves fast, I promise!). Go for an early lunch before hitting up the wineries for afternoon tastings. Order a cheeseburger and fries (I love their sweet potato fries!) and call it a day.

Meadowood – Everything about this hotel is wonderfully luxurious – and that includes their restaurant. The nine-course tasting menu is truly decadent and over-the-top. It’s such a special meal.

Other favorites: The French Laundry, Bouchon, Press, Ad Hoc + Addendum, and The Charter Oak.
