LATELY
When it comes to TV shows, I feel like I’m usually in agreement with the masses: if everyone seems to love it then I probably will, too. But that doesn’t seem to be the case with Killing Eve. I’ve tried and tried but just can’t quite get into it. I’m such a fan of Sandra Oh so it definitely has nothing to do with her but more so with the storyline. I’m just not grasping to it. I’ve given it six episodes and I think it’s time to just call it quits. Am I alone here? Did anyone else not love this show?

If you want to know which sweater I’ll be living in come fall, it’s this one from Kule. (I also love it in green!) This striped knit is made of the most delicious cashmere. I can’t wait to cozy up in it – with a baby in my arms!

While I wouldn’t consider cookies a pregnancy-related “craving” because they’re an all-the-time hankering of mine, I would say that pregnancy has fueled an increase in the frequency at which I’m indulging in cookies. They’ve become an everyday (yikes!) treat of mine which has led me to all kinds of new cookie discoveries – the latest of which is Meli’s Monster Cookies. These gluten-free (!) cookies are totally delicious and really hit the spot. Available in three different flavors (I’ve only tried the Original), they come in an easy-to-make mix and are available to purchase here on Amazon. I’m obsessed.

I’ve long been a fan of the glamour-filled photographs of Slim Aarons so I was thrilled to discover that One Kings Lane is now stocking a select number of his best prints. If you’re looking for a quick (and chic!) fix for an empty wall, start scrolling through the options here.

I’ve written about these Lululemon leggings in a previous post but I love them so much that I thought they were worth a second mention. While I can’t wait to for the return of my “normal” clothes post-pregnancy, these leggings are here to stay. They have officially taken the place of all my others. The high-rise style is so comfortable and easy to wear. I now own multiple pairs and several different colors. They’ll definitely go down as one of my favorite discoveries during pregnancy.

As an avid reader, I can’t believe just how late to the party I am for author Ruth Ware. I have devoured nearly three of her books in the last month! I started with In a Dark, Dark Wood (fact: Reese Witherspoon is making this one into a movie!) then proceeded on to this one and am currently wrapping up this one. Ware’s books are exactly the suspense-filled escape I need in a summer read.
