Packing has never been a strong suit of mine. In every other part of my life, I’m a planner. This isn’t true when it comes to packing. I like to decide what I want to wear in the moment so pre-planning my outfits for travel is a struggle for me. But guess what? It turns out this is not the case for a babymoon. Due to the fact that not everything fits and certain shapes (read: high-waisted anything) are off limits, my options are limited – which, when it comes to packing, is a very a good thing. For the first time ever, packing was a total breeze.
So, what is in my suitcase for Spain? The usual suspects are all there: sneakers, a couple of pairs of sandals, sunscreen, and a couple oversized button-down shirts. As for the rest of it, it’s all dresses. I live for breezy dresses at the moment. For day, there’s a mix of kaftans (this one and this one) from Pippa Holt, several gauzy numbers like this one, and a couple of shirt dresses that will easily double as pool coverups. For night, I packed colorful favorites like this and this along with this ruffle number from Kalita. From there, I loaded up on the accessories. I don’t have to worry about those not fitting, right?
